Brian Eastoe is a qualified Town Planner and accredited Commercial Mediator and Facilitator. He enjoys working in Sydney, in the Hunter, in NSW and nationally from his base near the beaches of Newcastle and the vineyards of the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia.

Brian's extensive experience in commercial, community, development & environment, construction, property and infrastructure projects comes from negotiating many leading edge entrepreneurial urban development contracts between the private sector and both State and Local Government.

He is a leading facilitator of urban development projects that are complex and/or controversial.

Brian’s particular expertise is in facilitating effective and productive commercial and consent type relationships between the private and public sectors.

Brian is an accredited Commercial Mediator and an accredited Adjudicator for the Building and Construction Security of Payments Act.

He was responsible for the important citizen mediation program that was initiated following the 1989 Newcastle Earthquake where he successfully resolved over 1200 insurance and building disputes.

Brian is a Member of the Planning Institute of Australia and a Member of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators, Australia.

He has tertiary qualifications in Surveying from NSW University, Arts in Regional Science from Sturt University and a post graduate Public and Business degree from Macquarie University.
